The biggest difference is in our FABRIC.
Fun. Authentic. Bold. Respectful. Innovative. Collaborative.
Our core values are built into our DNA as a bootstrapped software company. We’re driven to create meaningful, easy-to-use, impactful software for businesses large and small by putting people first.
We are proud of the fact that our growth has been fueled by our customers — that in delighting the people who’ve bought software, we continue to thrive without the need for outside investment.
Need more convincing?
That’s totally fine. The rest of this page offers a handful of what we see as the clear nuts and bolts differences between The Receptionist for iPad’s offering vs. Greetly.
The TOP Reasons Why Companies Use
The Receptionist for iPad vs. Greetly
Every plan gets every feature
There’s a reason you won’t see endless columns of checklists on our pricing page. In every pricing tier we offer, all of our customers get all of our features. Badge printing? Yep. Two-way messaging with your visitors? Absolutely. Native Zapier integration at no extra cost? Definitely.
We don’t believe that anyone should need a math degree to figure out a pricing model. The only difference between each tier is the number of employee contacts you’ll have at your location. Our pricing is as clear as possible, and we’re really not big fans of nickel-and-diming our customers.
For full transparency, the only exception to our pricing is that customers in some countries pay a little extra fee for SMS text message notifications simply because the cost is so much higher in those locations.
Extra entrances won’t cost you
Your building or office may have more than one entry, different front desks based on visitor type (guests and deliveries, for example) and you’ll want separate iPads for each spot.
Our pricing tiers are solely based on the number of employees you have at each location, not on the number of tablets. As long as the iPads are at the same location, you’ll pay the same amount no matter the number of check-in spots.
This means that your office could have two, five, or twenty entrances: your cost doesn’t change. And, you can give each iPad its own name so you can identify which specific entrance a visitor checked in at. Pretty neat, right?
Say you stepped away from your desk to go grab a coffee at the café down the street and your phone buzzes. Oh dang! Your visitor just checked in for your next meeting! What do you do?
With The Receptionist for iPad and our unique two-way communication feature, you can respond from your smartphone or computer back to your guest at the iPad kiosk and let them know to sit tight. You’re on your way!
Would your guest like a coffee, too? You can ask them just that with a simple text message.
Whew! No more embarrassed apologies when you’re 10 minutes late, and no more visitors wondering if you forgot your meeting, or if you’re coming to get them at all.
Customizable, button-based workflows
It doesn’t matter whether your business is large or small: not all visitors are the same. Each visitor’s check-in experience should reflect the uniqueness of each person’s visit. Build separate check-in flows for interview candidates, VIP guests, and deliveries etc., to ensure each visitor has the best possible experience.
We offer the ability to create custom buttons and workflows to ALL of our customers, not just the big businesses who pay us more. No complex coding required.
Every single Receptionist for iPad customer can create each visitor type’s ideal check-in experience to help your guests check in, check out, and be on their way as efficiently as possible.
Your brand, your way
We want our customers’ brand and image to be reflected in every interaction they have with their visitors and guests, and that impression starts with the check-in experience.
With The Receptionist for iPad, we give our customers the ability to customize the setup of their software uniquely to their business, from background imagery, to logos, to colors and fonts, through to button shapes. The world is your oyster.
After all, you never get a second chance at a first impression.
