KMM Group Welcomes More Visitors Without Delays

Manufacturing facilities must adhere to stricter regulations than many other types of businesses, largely due to safety and compliance concerns.

Collecting important information from guests can cause delays when visitors arrive. Guests must complete certain tasks, such as watching a safety video or signing a privacy agreement, before they can go about their business.

And if you’re welcoming a large number of guests—for example, facility tours—this process becomes unbearably burdensome because each visitor must start from the beginning of the check-in process.

When KMM Group consolidated its three business units under one roof in a brand-new building, there were some growing pains. Each unit would have visitors sign in using paper logbooks, which proved to be challenging once everyone was in the same facility.

This pen-and-paper process also lacked the security measures that a tech solution could easily provide. KMM Group, which often welcomes groups of visitors due to its community involvement, needed a way to get people in the door more efficiently.

Watch the full story to learn how KMM Group streamlined its check-in process, broke free from its paper logbooks, and celebrated its new building in style while maintaining compliance with regulations like the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  Interested in seeing how The Receptionist for iPad can help provide the perfect solution to your unique needs?
