Free Newsletter Templates: 11 Best Sites for Office Managers

A digital newsletter is an excellent way to stay top of mind for your customers and prospects. Whether it’s a daily digest (think: news organizations), a weekly wrap-up (for sites and blogs that publish often), or a monthly update (most any other business), a newsletter facilitates engagement and communication with your audience. ipad visitor managent system software

Here are 11 sites that have free email newsletter templates you can use to get your newsletter up and running in a flash.

1. ZURB Ink

ZURB is a product design company that knows its stuff. ZURB Ink provides a set of email templates that you can download and customize for free. You can also build your own templates. The best part about these templates is that they are responsive, even for very old and outdated email clients. The caveat is that the email templates will be easier to use if you know some code. But…for those of you who want to master the tool, ZURB offers a course in responsive email design training (not free, but if you send a lot of emails, it might be worth it).

2. 99designs

99designs recently ran a competition asking designers “to create three irresistible templates.” The results are a newsletter template, a promotional template, and a template for email notifications, each available in four different colors. Once you have the templates, you can load them into whatever email client you use.

3. MailChimp

Like other email software, MailChimp has a variety of pre-designed templates available right in the tool. You can also download their Email Blueprints, which is a collection of HTML templates that you can use to design your own.

4. Stamplia (via Litmus)

Stamplia is an email template marketplace where you can both buy and sell templates. The templates are very reasonably priced (around $10 to $18), but you can download seven for free on this page from Litmus.

5. Campaign Monitor

Campaign Monitor offers 100+ free email templates, most specifically designed for newsletters. You can use them with a Campaign Monitor account, but if you’re savvy you can import them into another email sender as well.

6. Email on Acid

Email on Acid has just one free responsive email template, but it’s a great one! The elements are all generic, so you can mix-and-match and customize them to your heart’s content.

7. ActiveCampaign

Like MailChimp and Campaign Monitor, ActiveCampaign is a full-service email provider. Unlike the other two, you do have to sign up for an account to view and use their templates, but both the account and the templates are free. If you upgrade to a paid account, their designers will customize the template for your brand.

8. CakeMail

CakeMail is also an email service provider. They offer 17 free templates that you can use with the application or download and use elsewhere.

This site offers 70+ free email templates that you can download and use with an email service provider. Many of them come with editable versions for both MailChimp and Campaign Monitor.

10. Sendblaster

Sendblaster is a program for email marketing campaigns. They have 130+ email templates for a wide range of purposes. The downside is that you have to download and install the program (it isn’t SaaS). The upside is that the download is free.

11. Antwort

Antwort provides two simple responsive email templates. They are “minimalist in design for maximum customizability,” which means you may need to know a little HTML. But they work across all email clients, even very old ones.
