Feature Update: QR code check in

The Receptionist for iPad has released to all customers the ability to allow guests to check in for their visit using a QR code on their mobile device.

With the QR code check-in option, pre-registered visitors or returning visitors will receive a unique QR code via email or printed to a badge that they can scan with the iPad’s built-in camera at the time of their visit. This will allow the visitor to bypass initial step of entering their email address upon check-in.

This seamless experience allows for faster check ins, and for busier offices, allows for more visitors to check in faster since time spent at the kiosk is reduced.

This update is available to all customers running our app version 4.2 or higher, at no additional charge.
